EdClub, Inc. is seeking a Chief Technology Officer for leading its technology team through its next stage of growth.

We are a SaaS EdTech company with high ambitions. The platform has a massive following with millions of visitors monthly and intends to grow to be a major player in the EdTech market.

About the Company:

edclub develops education technology tools that are effective, customizable, and easy to use. Our typing product, TypingClub, is the #1 touch typing application used by schools and districts in the United States. We are a Maryland-based company with almost all of the team working from the DC Metro area. 

Responsibilities:

Our technology stack is Django + React with a current team of 8 senior developers and designers based in the US. You'll help bring a new structure to the team by promoting practices that will help it grow and ensure the delivery of the products. You'll manage the hiring of the tech team to help grow it to meet the demands of the development.

The CTO will understand edclub’s product and vision and will lead the evolution of the product in all of its aspects including design, prototyping, software development, documentation, delivery, and support.

This position reports directly to the CEO. This is a key appointment and requires well-honed technical and business skills, coupled with a track record of leadership and management, ideally gained within an established SaaS company.

Prior experience in people management is an essential prerequisite, with an extremely good working knowledge of the related web technologies.
